STEVE JOBS SCREWS YOU OVER WITH:

Tablet RUMORS ooooo

Its that time of the year again when we philosophise about what apple might grace upon us unworthiness. This is one of the most ugliest tablets rumored, but there does seem to be much demand for thesein the blogoshericals… This source says nono until 2010, although, if you reaaaalllly wanted to you could convert your current macbook into a touch.. woaahh.

iPod touch w/camera

Not only that, but in the past week, a bajillion iPod touch rumors have been flying round about a new camera on the iPod Touch 3rd gen? This photo is of course, bullshit hence the JPG artifacting of the distinct 4 square pixels as seen above.

other rumor sites:

We’ll find out soon enough with apple releasing a keynote set due for September the 9th.

Macbook Micro!

More from lalaland is this awesomespsopeojeowwjsapcrazy Macbook Micro… like. small.. With a barcode badger straight out of a 90′s art student backpack ready to work on a quick slideshow before presenting his photography to the class. NICE//

Email be gone! What is this searchingness!?!

Woo, y’all would be cool to know that theres another secret spanner in the works with the new 3.0! Seems like you can return old, supposedly deleted email once you’ve sent them to the incinerator. iPhone has some gross old habits.. (apparently) we’re given the secturity, along wit heverything else, that it will be all ‘secure’ and the world will be saved once again by the 3.1 release. Maybe by then, we might almost have a fully functioning phone.. just maybe.

SONY SAYS

Unleashing the epic new PS3, you can get your hands on one of these puppies for about $600 NZ, or $300 US, slashing prices like an insane night bat! Unleashing 4 lbs weight off from the older model, less 30Watts, tactile buttons and a sexysly Matte Black colour with 120Gb of dietry data storage. No more excuses for not having one!

It seems KMart in America have what to be first dibs, but will be in-store for New Zealand 1st September 2009.

We’ll try getting one in just for yoouuuuuu and give you the fulls ins and outsness, look forwards to it yaay.

ANOTHER CONSOLE!#$%^&*(*^%$ Sony gets your hot hands warmer with the new ‘PSPgo’

And it’s a sliptop! teenytiny inyour pocket approach to new gaming, sony even give you the option of many a colour.

Although, apple have raised their fat little hand in saying their price range are in-par to that of the Apple’s App Store. Sounds like jealousy if you ask us. And jealousy only made people fat.

Very cool.

Experiment of the week:

Nothing this week folks, however, there is some theing to debut for next week yarrrr!

Another Iphone spectacular EXPLOSIONS!

This time, glass in a teenagers face! How lovely. and his mother cared so much to tell the press that “My son was frightened but he did not lose an eye,” Ms Kolega said. Its all for lols here

Bacon Bewbs!

We had alot of discussion of bacon in this episode, that of which was followed from the donut flavoured soap Zarn found (below). YUM!

The real-life colour-picker Pen

Tongue twisting madness, this pen can actually sense the colour of an object, and change to the colour of that object. Through the mixing of an RGB cartridge inside the mechanism, its able to find the values and use magical wizardry for you to colour the world. Sort of something out of Total Recall… I don’t think it’d be a good idea to bring it close to any animals though.

Sharps Waterproof, memory Liquid Crystal Display Phone

Handset open = standard full colour display. Handset closed = military device impenetrable to any attacks. Honestly, this thing is awesome, it has an odd double-sided display and when closed, turns into an ultra low-power consumption black and white screen. Its a new innovation called memory liquid crystal and only uses a tiny amount of powers, leading to usage for days on end. Unfortunately, due to its radness, its only available to those in Japan. rawr.

HARDWARES

XBOX micro

Following the same dietary standards as its fellow neighbours, xbox have returned with a thinner version of their older xbox gaming console. Even though it might make the WII look a tad overweight, motherboard bulimia has definitely occurred, and done good. 6 months of modding from Engadget have left the xbox console with nothing more than 1 inch exposure. Good job.

Tongue-in-eye

I don’t care that I’m not blind, I’m going to get one of these and walk in the dark for as long as I live! Its that worth it because this device actually sends electrical pulses to your tongue via a head-mounted camera that lightly zap your tongue in response to visual stimuli. It responds to all surroundings, and even though it would make you look like a snake, it’s pretty much the coolest night vision goggles I’ve ever seen. With a price-tag of a fitting $10 000 to fit its cool wrap-rounds.

Zarni fashioned this garmemt in the most social of places and got the following comments: “Oh! Where technology and fashion meet” and “Looks like I’m turning your volume up” and “Omg take it off I want to buy it off you” and “How many of those fucking T-shirts do you have?”. So in a cheesy appeal to be cool, this is pretty much the most sexy item you could ever think of buying. EVER! But seriously, it’s cool. And the girls dig it.

PROS:

-Looks fantastical like a light show, but on you, and with music

CONS:

-Washing this bad boy can get quite tricky, although removing the ribbon power supply isn’t that bad, it’s recommended you ask your mum to hand wash it while you get back to your computer game.

-Strange people will stop. And stare at your chest.

WELL THAT’S COOL, WHERE CAN I GETS IT!?

Yay, Think Geek of course! They come in Small and large for $39.99 US straight from their website.

(say something about moshbox and they might be like, oh what!? this really worked, and be all cool with you. Chur).

Well Well, if it isn’t the return of the 80′s and their little spacebots.. It LOOKS like the best machandroid available to man, but does it play like one? Strange combination of puzzle solving and turn base RPG, meh works though and is hella impressive for indie game, computer theme is pretty cool. The cool kids will love it.

PULP SCIENCE RECOMMENDS YOU PONDER AT:

AND

This WEEKS

We are joined by none other than Techmaster Zarni, Commander Kermath, Andre 3000 and special guest Timz0r
ITS EPISODE 00001010! And We’re celebrating by introducing our new sponsor to a sexy new feature to the show, Monkey and giving you the presents.. cheesy.

FOLLOW THE PODCAST AND TURN THE PAGE AT THE BEEP
(remember to comments below bout shiz and we will discussionz it next week)

This photo is of course, bullshit hence the JPG artifacting of the distinct 4 square pixels as seen above.
other rumor sites:
http://www.engadget.com/2009/08/14/hey-maybe-that-ipod-touch-with-a-camera-is-real-after-all/

Paraphanelia
JENING visits PULP SCIENCE!
Oh what joy! Team Fortresses JENING joined us on the epical 10th episode for a special acapella style JENINGroll and talk about the new updates of Team Fortress, wakawaka! check all the newest updates here! 3 days of greatness.

Tongue twisting madness, this pen can actually [...]</itunes:summary>

Tonight’s Bootleg Disco was a UNIQUE and BEAUTIFUL snowflake, er, show. We had a distinct lack of Tim (in person, he graced us with his voice later in the show), and a very noticeable helping of Jess and Kermath. We played yonks of new songs, some of which may even have been good. I guess that is up to you, the listeners, to decide. The listener amount was nearly as high (12) as last week, which we attributed to there being two vaginas in the studio, talking into the microphones. The vaginas weren’t talking. The tracks played were (in this order):

<itunes:summary>Tonight’s Bootleg Disco was a UNIQUE and BEAUTIFUL snowflake, er, show.
Thieves Like Us – Really Like To See You Again
Dizzee Rascal (feat. Armand van Helden) – Bonkers
Cheatahs – Some Powers (cassette version)
Coconut Records – Microphone
Nouvelle Vague – Blister In The Sun (No link, because we are LEADING THE PACK. Heck yes!)
Pocketbooks – Footsteps
The Crack Babies – She’s A Star
Magic Wands – Black Magic (xx remix)
Sonic Youth – Sacred Trickster
